4 Easy Rules To Follow If You Want Massive Success

Can I make a confession?

I had a bit of a lazy day yesterday!

All of my work was done so I decided to just relax, watch some flicks and treat myself to a nice dinner.

I was watching a very interesting video by someone I admire quite a bit, he had some solid points about overcoming depression and creating success.

Due to privacy reasons, I can only tell you that this man’s first name is Andrew.

I watched the video not because I’m depressed, but because I can remember a time when I was depressed.

I remember clocking into my corporate sales job, walking to my desk just thinking, “F&%# me, here we go again.”

I really wish someone had told me these rules at that time in my life, so I figured why not share it with my audience?

Here are the 4 rules to follow…

          1. You can achieve anything you set your mind to.

We’ve heard this all 100 times before, but it really is so very very important.

See, what you think about, becomes your reality, so the second you think something CANT be achieved, you’re finished.

You have to have the mindset that I CAN achieve this…

No one is saying whatever you’re trying to achieve will be easy, or that you’ll be able to do it quickly.

I’ve never met someone who was super successful that wasn’t very positive and didn’t have a “can-do mindset”

          2. Get Pissed Off

It’s pretty common that people will tell you, “Oh don’t compare yourself to anyone.”

In some ways this is true, but in many ways, this is very bad advice.

Andrew described an experience he had where he pulled up to a stoplight on his way to work in an old beat-up car he bought for 500 quid.

And right next to him, a man pulls up in a beautiful drop-top Aston Martin with a gorgeous woman by his side.

He thought to himself, “Why can’t I have that?”

He had multiple experiences like this one that he used for lots of fuel and motivation.

This is harsh advice, but if there are things that you want in your life that you don’t have, it’s your fault that you don’t have them.

That should piss you off.

Because you can have these things, you’re able to have these things, but for some reason, you haven’t been able to do it.

It’s no one’s fault but your own that you don’t have these things, and I’m not just talking about material things...I’m talking about everything.

Peace of mind, happiness, being in great shape, etc.

If these aren’t in your life, it’s on you.

(This obviously does not apply to people with legitimate health disorders)

Rule #2 ties in quite nicely with Rule #3 which is…

          3. No one is going to save you, but yourself

This one is pretty simple, no one is going to drag you out of bed, put you in front of a laptop and make sure you are prospecting and working on your business.

No one.

If you want to have success in your life it’s on you, and only you.

And finally…

          4. Your word is bond

What this means is that when you say you’re going to do something, you do it.

And not just to other people, but to yourself as well.

So when you sit down and tell yourself, I am going to reach out to 100 new companies this week…

You need to actually do it.

In this world, there are very few things we can control, but one thing you can control is what you say.

Your word is one of the most important things you have in this world, you need to treat it as such.

And that’s it, pretty simple rules to follow, and I very much so agree with all of them.

With most things in life, the explanation is simple, the implementation is what’s difficult.
