Snapchat Ads, do they live up to the hype?

As you may have seen, earlier this week I created a video talking about Snapchat ads.

In fact, Snapchat actually reached out to me and asked if I could talk about it and show this platform to my community.

Now obviously, I’m not going to work with everyone…

My business has a reputation to keep up, and I don’t want to spoil for some silly sponsorship.

I told the guys over at Snap Inc. I would try the platform out for myself and see if my brand saw any good results from it.

You wouldn’t be reading this article if the ads platform on Snapchat didn’t totally blow me away, because I wouldn’t have wrote anything!

So let me confirm it for you now, Snapchat Ads 100% lives up to the hype!

With over X users on their platform, Snapchat is in  my opinion the underdog of digital marketing platforms.

You may think that the only people on Snapchat are young teens, I certainly did as well, but there are millions of people in every age category!

Let’s be completely honest, all of the eyes in the advertising market are on Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and Google AdWords. 


When I ran an ad on Snapchat that cost me £164.95, the results made my jaw drop.

  • 155,255 Impressions
  • £1.06 CPM (Cost per 1,000 impressions)
  • 2,223 Swipe Ups

Those results from that kind of adspend are unheard of on the other platforms we use to market our brand.

This is the perfect time for you to take advantage of a platform, that not many people are taking advantage of.

When it comes to business you want to constantly be trying new things and figuring out ways to stand apart from your competitors.

Let’s just say that your niche is athletic fashion, and you have a meeting with a prospective client tomorrow.

If you were to show them how you can get traffic coming to their website from 3-4 different sources, you’d probably be way more likely to get their business vs. the person showing them just one.


Because anyone in their right mind knows that sales is a numbers game, and the more eyeballs on your product, the more sales you see.

So why wouldn’t this prospective client want to test a platform they probably haven’t tried advertising on before?

This is why I’m saying Snapchat Ads are a serious game changer.‍
