When we started working with Reverse Life the brand was generating around £350K per month selling liquid marine collagen in one of the most saturated supplement categories online.

The customer base was primarily women over 45 dealing with the visible effects of ageing - wrinkles, thinning hair, brittle nails, joint pain, hormonal shifts, and the gradual loss of confidence that often comes with them.

The challenge with saturated categories like this is that eventually every brand starts sounding identical.

The same ingredient claims. The same before-and-after transformations. The same generic promises around “anti-ageing.”

At a certain point performance plateaus because the customer no longer sees a meaningful difference between one brand and the next.

Most brands only create ads around the obvious problem their product solves.

Anyone can say:

“Our collagen helps wrinkles and ageing skin.”

But the strongest ads rarely focus on the direct problem itself. They focus on the second-order consequences surrounding the customer’s life. The real emotional moments like when a woman is avoiding certain lighting because she no longer feels confident in her skin.

Someone spending thousands on wellness habits while unknowingly damaging their skin barrier through overexposure to saunas and heat. The subtle shift from feeling youthful and feminine to feeling like your appearance is slowly becoming unfamiliar.

The founder also had a highly compelling origin story, so one of the first things we did was build a founder-led creative campaign around his journey. That quickly became one of the strongest-performing creative pillars inside the account and played a major role in the next phase of growth.

We then rebuilt the creative engine around identity-based positioning.

We built five distinct persona pathways around:

• wrinkles and skin ageing

• thinning hair

• brittle nails

• joint pain and mobility decline

• menopause and hormonal shifts

Each persona had its own emotional hooks, messaging angles, creative concepts, and customer psychology.

From there we layered in UGC, high-production lifestyle creative, and authority-led campaigns with Dr Jonquille Chantrey to position the brand less like a supplement company and more like a trusted expert recommendation.

On the funnel side we replaced generic email pop-ups with a zero-party-data quiz using , increasing pop-up conversion rates from 2% to 17.7%.

We also rebuilt the subscription flow architecture inside to improve retention and maintain strong trial-to-subscription conversion rates during scale.

Within three months scaled from £350K per month to over £1M per month in revenue while maintaining stable acquisition efficiency throughout the growth curve.
